The Hive Hotel Rome, Rome

For my wife's birthday getaway, we stayed at the hotel that turned out to be a mixed bag. The room was very noisy, but it perfectly matched the pictures, was spacious, and impeccably cleaned every day. The array of amenities provided, from towels to a selection of toiletries and even a kettle for tea/coffee, was impressive. However, the noise level was a big letdown for a special occasion like a birthday.

The hotel rooms might be a bit older than they look in the pictures, but they are still very clean, and the bed is incredibly comfortable. The service was impeccable, offering room service and an airport shuttle for convenience. The location is fantastic for exploring the city, being very close to Roma Termini station. However, the dining experience left much to be desired with poor choices and organization. Despite that, the hotel offers great value for money given its central location.
